Roles screen
Roles are reusable groups of permissions assigned to users. They let you define access by job or responsibility instead of configuring every user independently.

Built-in and custom roles
An account normally includes broad roles such as Account administrators and Everyone. Built-in roles carry a colour so you can tell them apart next to a person's name. You can add more focused roles for teams that need a particular combination of access.
Design roles carefully
- Grant the least access someone needs to do their work.
- Keep role names understandable to account administrators.
- Prefer a small number of meaningful roles over many near-duplicates.
- Review powerful administration and edit permissions regularly.
Open a role to inspect or change its permissions. Changes affect users assigned to that role.
For Presence, a role can be granted the ability to see every workspace, admin every workspace, or create workspaces. See Permissions. Access to one workspace is set on that workspace.
