API screen

Settings → API is where an account administrator creates keys for the Silktide REST API. A key can read this account's data the same way an administrator can, so keep it secret and delete any key you no longer use.

Create a key, copy it when it is shown, and store it somewhere safe. You can show a key again later, or delete it. Anything still using a deleted key stops immediately.

The same screen can send a real request with one of your keys, so you can confirm the connection before you write any code. Full request shapes and endpoints live in the developer documentation.

This is not MCP. MCP is how ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, and similar products sign in to Silktide. API keys are for your own scripts and services.
