Workspace screen

Settings → Workspace is the currently selected : its name, identity brand, how often it measures, who can reach it, and the option to delete it.

Switch workspaces from the sidebar, then open Settings → Workspace to see that workspace. This screen only ever shows the one you have selected. New workspace opens the same wizard as the first-run setup.

Account admins also get Settings → All workspaces: every workspace on the account in one list, for renaming, opening, or deleting workspaces you do not have selected.

What you can change

  • Name. The identity brand is whose workspace this is, and whose numbers every screen shows by default. It is chosen when the workspace is created and cannot be changed afterwards.
  • Report language - the language everything Silktide writes for this workspace comes out in: AI reports, news stories, suggested tasks, draft goals. It starts out matching the workspace's first region, and it is separate from your own interface language. Changing it decides what gets written next; documents that already exist keep the language they were written in. See Languages in Presence.
  • Measurement - whether this workspace runs, and how many days apart. Each workspace keeps its own rhythm. Changes apply immediately.
  • Permissions - who can see and manage this workspace. See Permissions.

Roster and topics are not here. Add or remove competitors on Competitors. Add or edit arenas on Topics. Who receives news and strategy alerts is on the News and Strategy screens.

Deleting a workspace

Deleting a workspace removes it and its screens from your account. Do it only when the arena genuinely no longer matters, since the measurement history goes with it.
