Platforms screen
Settings → Platforms lists the search engines and AI assistants Presence measures for this . How new reports look lives on Settings → Appearance.
There is nothing to choose here. What you measure is what your plan includes, plus anything added to your agreement, and it is the same in every workspace on the account. The list applies to visibility measurement and Accuracy alike.
How much of your plan you are using lives on Settings → Plan, not here.
Where the list comes from
Included as standard is the platform set your plan includes, named on your order form. All of it runs. There are two: Standard adds Google AI Mode and Bing rankings on top of Essential, which is Google Search, its AI Overview, ChatGPT and Gemini. Google prints its AI answer on its own results page, so measuring both costs no more than measuring one.
A set only ever grows. If we add a platform to it, accounts on that set get it at no extra cost; we do not take one away from an account that was sold it.
Added to your plan is the premium assistants your agreement includes, such as Claude or Perplexity. These cost several times a standard assistant per answer, so they are bought individually. If one is listed here, it is running.
Where a platform names a model, that is the model line we ask — see Platforms we measure for which version is answering for each one today.
Why breadth matters
Assistants disagree with each other, often substantially. A brand that looks even across the workspace is frequently winning one assistant and missing from another, which is why the standard set covers the assistants most people actually use rather than asking you to bet on one — see AI assistant market share.
AI assistants we measure covers what each one is and how it is measured.
