Does Silktide offer an on-premise version?
No. Silktide is a hosted cloud product. There is no on-premise edition, and none is planned.
On-premise here means running Silktide on computers your organization owns, instead of using Silktide as software-as-a-service. That is a different product, not a deployment option we can switch on.
Why not
Silktide runs as a large cloud service. It depends on specialized infrastructure from providers such as Amazon Web Services, and on third-party services for capabilities such as AI. Those AI systems cannot be copied onto a customer's machines.
An on-premise product would also change how Silktide is built, tested, and supported. Instead of updating the service for everyone at once, each customer's IT team would have to install and maintain their own copy. That is not how Silktide works, and it is not a direction we are taking.
If the need is an intranet, not a local install
Teams sometimes ask for on-premise because an intranet cannot be reached from the public internet, or because they cannot give Silktide a login that their security policy allows.
Silktide can still test intranet sites when our crawlers can reach them, typically through allowlisting, a securely exposed URL, or authentication. Silktide cannot complete multi-factor authentication codes or CAPTCHAs, so use a dedicated test account with the least access needed.
For data location, Silktide offers EU and US regional hosting. That keeps your account in a contracted geography. It is not the same as installing Silktide inside your network.
