Competitive with the topic leaders
Whether the brand holds a meaningful share of the topic's measured answers, or whether assistants answer the topic's questions mostly without it.
This is a brief's most severe judgment, because it is the bottom line the rest of the brief explains. If assistants recommending in your category rarely name you, every buyer who asks them is being routed to someone else - and no amount of polish elsewhere compensates for simply not being in the answers.
When this is flagged
A brief flags this when the measured answers show the brand materially trailing the topic's leaders in or share of voice - assistants answer the topic's questions mostly without it.
How to fix it
There is no single fix; the rest of the brief is the fix. The flagged checks that follow - missing answer content, missing citations, absence from third-party sources, structural rival advantages - are the reasons this number is what it is, and the brief's recommendations are ordered by how much each is likely to move it. Expect movement over editions, not days.
