Content assistants can use

Whether the brand pages that should be winning citations are in a shape assistants can actually read, extract, and quote.

A page can hold the right answer and still be unusable as a source: the answer buried under preamble, facts written as promotional copy an assistant cannot safely quote, or blocked from reading the page at all. When that happens the brand loses citations it had already earned the substance for - the cheapest kind of loss to prevent.

When this is flagged

A brief flags this when the brand pages that should win citations are structurally hard for assistants to use - buried answers, thin or promotional copy where facts should be, or AI crawlers blocked from reading them.

How to fix it

Fix access first: confirm AI crawlers can fetch the pages the brief names. Then fix shape: state the answer in the first screen, write key facts as plain, quotable statements rather than marketing claims, and keep one page per question rather than scattering the answer. The per-page AEO report gives page-level detail on exactly these problems.
