As current as the results demand
Whether the page reads as fresh as the target keyword's results require.
Freshness matters for some queries and not others – the results tell you which. When the ranking pages carry this year in their titles, cite current data, or show recent update dates, the query rewards currency, and a page that reads stale or undateable cannot hold its ground there.
When this is flagged
The report flags this when the ranking results are dominated by dated or recently updated content and this page reads stale or of unknowable age by comparison.
How to fix it
Update the substance, not just a date stamp: refresh statistics, replace dated references, and show a visible, honest last-updated date. If the content genuinely does not age, make that self-evident, and consider whether the keyword's freshness demand makes it the wrong target for an evergreen page.
