PDFs screen
The PDFs screen lists every PDF Silktide has tested for this website. Like Pages, it appears in Inventory and inside scored modules (Content, Accessibility, and Compliance). User Experience does not include a PDFs list because that module focuses on how the website itself performs.
Inventory versus modules
- Inventory > PDFs is the full catalogue of tested PDFs for this website or section.
- Module > PDFs filters the catalogue to that module's findings and check filters, so you can work through accessibility or content issues page by page in PDF context.
This website-level catalogue is separate from account-wide Documents (Silktide Documents), where Silktide stores PDFs for standards review and AI remediation. Inventory PDFs answer "what did we find on this site?"; Documents answers "how do we manage and remediate our PDF library?"
Grid and table views
PDFs default to the screenshot grid, because the first-page thumbnail is often the fastest way to recognise a file. Switch to the table when you need sortable columns, dense lists, or export.
In grid view you can adjust thumbnail density. Desktop and mobile device toggles apply only to HTML pages, not PDFs.
Search, sort, and export
Search by title or URL, sort the table, and export when you need an offline inventory of PDF findings for a module or for the whole site.
Opening a PDF
Select a row or thumbnail to open that PDF in the Inspector. For remediation, standards conformance, and the account library, use Documents.
