What SEO reports judge
Every SEO report makes the same fixed set of judgments about the page and its target keyword - its checks. These are deliberately the questions only comparing the page against the live search results can answer; the mechanical facts (meta tags, indexability, page speed) are covered by Silktide's regular checks. Because every page is judged against the same set, results can be compared across pages.
- Content is coherent
- Page type fits the search intent
- Target keyword is winnable
- One page owns the keyword
- Covers the topic in real depth
- No obvious competitor advantage
- Title promise is kept
- Snippet competes for the click
- As current as the results demand
- Speaks the searcher's language
- Reads naturally, not for engines
- Expertise the query demands
- Adds something the results lack
Each check has a fixed priority, and the page's SEO score is computed from these judgments - every point lost corresponds to a flagged check you can see.
