Gemini is Google's consumer AI assistant. It is one of the largest assistants by usage, and the same Google models also power AI Overviews in Search.
Silktide measures Gemini by reading gemini.google.com in a real browser - the product your customers actually use - asking it the same prompts you configure for AI visibility tracking, then recording the answer, which brands it mentions, and which sources it cites.
What to expect
- The website controls the model. Google decides which model answers an anonymous visitor and can change it without notice. Each measurement records the model that actually answered, so you can see when it moved.
- Answers are queued. A browser has to open the page and wait for the answer. The measurement remains pending while it is queued or running and may take up to a day to land.
