Readability screen

Readability settings control which calibrated formula Silktide uses for each supported language. The setting is account-wide.

Each formula produces its own native scale. Silktide maps supported formulas to common proficiency and education tiers so results from different languages can be compared. Open a language to see that mapping.

Most languages use the default formula. Choose another formula only when your organization has a documented reason, and use Reset to return to the default. Languages listed as unsupported are not given a readability score.

This screen chooses the formula, not a page's language or the target used to flag difficult pages. Page language is resolved per page as described in How languages work, and audited on the Languages screen. The Content report then applies the formula for each resolved language.

See Readability for interpreting a website's results.
