Which languages does Silktide support?
Silktide can crawl and test websites written in any language. Accessibility, SEO, and most other checks do not require a special language pack.
Some content features are language-aware:
| Capability | What to know |
|---|---|
| Spelling | Supported for a wide set of languages and regional variants (for example US vs UK English, many Spanish locales). Configure the languages you expect on the website. |
| Grammar | Supported for a smaller set than spelling. Unsupported languages simply skip grammar scoring. |
| Readability | In older versions, readability was effectively English-only. In Silktide 5, readability is scored for dozens of languages, each with its own calibrated formula (see Readability settings). Languages without a calibrated formula are not given a misleading English-based score. |
| Interface and Help | You can change the Silktide UI language from My settings. Help uses the same languages: pick one from the language menu on this site. An article without a translation yet stays in English. |
| AI-written content | Presence writes reports, news, and tasks in each workspace's own report language, which is separate from your interface language. See Languages in Presence. |
Configure website languages in Advanced settings. Silktide 5 can also trust each page's own language declaration - see How languages work.
Getting the language wrong is the most common reason for surprising spelling or grammar results. Fix the page's lang attribute when you can, or override with a URL rule or Inspector override.
