Own content answers the topic

Whether the brand's own site has content that directly answers the questions this topic's prompts ask.

Assistants cite sources when they answer, and they can only cite pages that exist. If nobody has written the page that answers "which tools do X?" or "how does Y compare?", the brand is structurally absent from those answers no matter how good the product is. This is the most common root cause behind a weak competitive position - and the most directly fixable one.

When this is flagged

A brief flags this when the brand's own site lacks content that directly answers the questions this topic's prompts ask - assistants citing sources for these answers have nothing of the brand's worth citing.

How to fix it

Write the missing answers. Take the topic's prompts as a content brief: each cluster of questions the brand cannot currently answer from its own pages is a page to create - comparison pages, plain-spoken explainers, honest FAQ answers. The brief's recommendations name the specific gaps; the winning content it studied shows the shape that gets cited.
