New navigation

The main navigation lists Home, then the products on your account: Governance, Analytics, and Presence. Tasks sits with them, so work from any product is in one list. The account menu holds your settings, your theme, and Back to original Silktide.

Inside a website

Open a website in Governance and the sidebar is the same shape on every site:

  • Content, Accessibility, User Experience, and Compliance are the four scored modules. Marketing from Silktide 4 folds into User Experience, and Privacy into Compliance. See How scoring changed in Silktide 5.
  • Inventory catalogues everything Silktide found: pages, PDFs, links, languages, technologies, user flows, and test runs. In Silktide 4 these lists were scattered through the report.
  • Uptime lives in User Experience, with status, an incident calendar, and monitors for pages and user flows.
  • Targets sit on the website sidebar, next to the scores they measure.
  • Decisions appear in each module and on an account-wide Decisions screen, with search and export.

Collections

Silktide 4 organised websites with groups. Silktide 5 uses collections: sets of websites that appear in the Sites list, with their own combined scores. A collection's module score is the average of its member websites, and that history only moves forward. Adding a website changes the average from that day on. From that list, choose Collections to create one or change its members.

Module screens

Each module opens on its score, the criteria inside it, and the checks costing the most points. Accessibility can group checks by area, priority, or . Grouped views show issue counts. Scores belong to the module and its criteria.
