Coming from Silktide 4

If you used Silktide 4, a few things work differently.

  • Your scores will move. Silktide 5 counts points differently and tests for more, so most websites score a little lower. What changed in your score compares the two from the same scan.
  • Marketing is now Presence. Its checks move into User Experience, SEO and checks join Content, and everything else lives in Presence.
  • Privacy is part of Compliance.
  • Duration counts time spent using a page. In Analytics, a visit's stops when someone switches to another tab or stops using the page, so most durations read shorter than in Silktide 4.
  • Groups are now collections, and tags are now labels. Same items, clearer names. See What happened to tags?.
  • Silktide 4 is still there. A few features, such as the full custom report builder, have not moved yet. Your data is shared, so you can switch back any time. See Can I switch between Silktide 4 and Silktide 5?.
