How does Silktide detect cookies?
Silktide loads pages in a real browser and records cookies the site sets during that load. Most cookies appear then.
Cookies that only appear after someone acts - dismisses a banner, logs in, searches, confirms age - may be missed unless Silktide is instructed to perform that step. Simple one-click dismissals can often be configured; richer journeys use custom interactions or user flows.
By default each page download starts without prior cookies, so Silktide can see where new cookies are set and crawl in parallel. If your site sets cookies only after a first click anywhere on the page, ask Silktide to configure a short 'warm-up' interaction.
Cookie findings are observational. Do not treat them as legal advice regarding consent or compliance - see Compliance.
