Everything here is in Silktide now, and each entry links to the help for it.

Some of these arrived under a different name than they were requested under. Where that happened the current name is the heading, and the original request is noted - because the shape of the answer often turned out to be bigger than the question.

Websites

Mark issues as fixed

Mark a finding as fixed as soon as you have changed the page, and it stops cluttering your view while you wait for the next test. Scores do not move until Silktide has actually verified the fix, so this tidies your working list without flattering your results.

New and resolved issues

See which issues appeared and which were resolved, so a score movement has an explanation rather than being a mystery. Check screens carry the change over the last 30 days.

Page search in reports

Search across every page and PDF Silktide has found, and jump straight to the one you want. Every results table has its own search as well, so finding one page in a large website is no longer a scrolling exercise.

Automated accessibility statements

Silktide drafts an accessibility statement for a website out of what its own testing found, so the document describes reality rather than an aspiration. You review it and publish it.

Ask AI about any issue

Ask AI what a finding means and how to fix it, from the finding itself, with the page and the check already in context. It answers in plain language instead of quoting a standard at you.

AI help with policies and custom checks

Requested as AI policy creation. Describe a brand, content, or policy rule in your own words and Silktide turns it into a custom check that runs against every page.

The broken links check follows links inside your PDFs as well as your web pages, so a dead URL buried in a document still gets found.

AI help with spelling approvals

Approving a spelling finding teaches your dictionary the word, and Silktide's AI proposes which unusual words - names, jargon, product terms - are legitimate. You confirm a judgment rather than typing out a word list.

Testing modern JavaScript sites

Requested as Shadow DOM support. Silktide loads every page in a real browser and tests what a visitor actually gets, including content rendered by frameworks and web components rather than sitting in the source.

A consent banner you can put on your own website, configured in Silktide and included at no extra cost. Silktide already knows which cookies your site sets, so the banner and the audit agree with each other instead of drifting apart.

Presence

AI optimization

How your brand appears in ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, and AI-powered search, measured the way SEO measures Google. This became Presence, a considerably larger product than the original request.

Marketing analytics

Requested in early 2025 as a richer marketing module. It grew into Presence: search rankings, keywords, ads, freshness, and AI visibility now live there as one product rather than as extra charts on a website.

Competitor tracking

Track competitors alongside your own brand: where they get named instead of you, what they publish, and how their position moves over time.

Improved keyword management

Keyword discovery, ranking, and gap analysis in one place - which terms you are winning, which you are losing, and which your competitors own that you have not addressed.

Analytics

Previous page paths

See the pages visitors came from before landing on a page, and where they went next. Useful for finding the route that converts, and for tracking down the page that keeps sending people somewhere they did not want to go. Available on sessions and goals.

Import analytics data from other platforms

Bring your history in from another analytics platform, so moving your analytics to Silktide does not mean restarting your reporting from zero and losing every year-on-year comparison.

Custom event data

See the detail inside your own events: which article was opened, which button was pressed, on which page. Send properties with an event, then rank their values and list every time the event was sent, in the app, or pull them into your own reporting through the API.

Getting work done

Tasks

A top-level Tasks area for work that needs a person: create, assign, prioritize, and track to done. A finding can become a task directly, so the page and check that prompted the work travel with it.

Linear integration

Publish a Silktide task into Linear as an issue, linked back to the finding it came from, so the work gets picked up where your team already looks.

Alerts

Be told when something needs you: new issues, a score dropping, a check crossing a threshold. Alerts can reach you by email, Slack, Microsoft Teams, or a webhook.

Email notifications

Email when you are assigned a task or a check, or when something you are responsible for changes, each one linking straight back to the item. You choose which types you want and how they reach you in My settings.

Using Silktide

Silktide in your own language

The Silktide interface is translated, and each person chooses their own language - so a team spread across countries can work in one account without all working in English.

Instant results in the Silktide Toolbar

On a website connected to Silktide, the Toolbar shows results for a page you have already tested as soon as it loads, instead of making you start a scan and wait for it.

Dark mode

A darker interface for people who prefer one, or who work late. Choose light, dark, or follow your system, and Silktide remembers it.

A better experience on mobile

Silktide works on a phone or a tablet. Reviewing a finding, checking a score, and picking up a task no longer need a desktop.
