Inspector

The Inspector brings a tested page and its findings together. It is where you move from a site-wide count to the exact place a problem occurs.

What you can inspect

  • The rendered page at the tested viewport.
  • Individual issue locations highlighted on the page.
  • The source or context behind a finding.
  • Accessibility structure, headings, landmarks, links, and focus order.
  • Screenshots and responsive views captured during testing.
  • Check instructions, standards references, priority, and responsibility.
  • Page maps for clicks, frustration, and scroll when Analytics has data for the page.

A typical workflow

  1. Open a check or issue from a module, page table, or search result.
  2. Select an occurrence to highlight it on the page.
  3. Read the explanation and inspect its page or source context.
  4. Ask AI when you need a plainer explanation or repair guidance.
  5. Record an appropriate decision or create a task.
  6. Retest after the website changes to confirm the finding is gone.
