Pages screen

The Pages screen lists every HTML page Silktide has tested for this website. The same screen appears in Inventory and inside modules such as Content, Accessibility, User Experience, and Compliance. The layout is shared; the list changes depending on where you open it.

Inventory versus modules

  • Inventory > Pages is the full catalog of tested pages for this website or section. Use it when you want to find a page, review coverage, or open something in the Inspector without filtering by module score.
  • Module > Pages (Content, Accessibility, User Experience, or Compliance) shows the same catalog filtered to that module's results and check filters. Use it when you are working through a scored area and want pages ranked or filtered by that module's findings.

PDFs use the same shared pattern for PDF content.

Grid and table views

Pages support both a table and a screenshot grid. The table is the default: it emphasizes titles, URLs, scores, and sortable columns. Switch to the grid when you need to recognize pages visually.

In grid view you can:

  • Adjust thumbnail density.
  • Switch between desktop and mobile screenshots.

Your chosen view is kept in the URL so you can share or bookmark it.

Search, sort, and export

Search by title or URL, sort columns that matter to your task, and export the current table when you need an offline list. Exact columns depend on the screen and any active module filters.

Key pages

Key pages are the pages Silktide watches most closely. Each one gets speed tests on desktop and mobile, and an uptime check every 5 minutes. Accounts that came from Silktide 4 get uptime checks on key pages while their plan has uptime checks available. When you are looking at pages (not PDFs), a thumbnail strip appears above the list so important URLs stay visible while you work. Website admins pin or unpin them from the row actions on the pages table.

Two limits apply to key pages:

  • Up to 10 per website. No website can have more than 10 key pages, whatever your plan includes, even when it has no limit.
  • Your plan's key pages. Your plan includes a number of key pages shared across all your websites. Settings → Plan shows how many are in use.

Silktide pins your homepage as a key page after a website's first test, so each website starts with one. That homepage counts toward your plan's key pages like any other. If they are all in use, a new website starts with no key page. Unpin one on another website, or ask the person who manages your Silktide account for more.

Silktide pins your homepage as a key page after the first test, so the site starts with one. Pin any other pages that matter to you.

Opening a page

Select a row or thumbnail to open that page in the Inspector, where you can review issues, ask AI, record decisions, and create tasks.
