Lazy loading
Lazy loading means waiting to load a resource - an image, video, script, or widget - until it is actually needed, rather than loading everything when the page first loads. It makes the initial page load faster by using bandwidth and processing time only on what the visitor actually sees or uses.
It is most commonly applied to images and embeds , using the native loading="lazy" attribute on <img> and <iframe> elements. Content above the fold should generally not be lazy-loaded, since delaying it may slow down instead of helping it.
