AI credit
An AI credit is the unit Silktide measures metered AI work in. Your plan includes a number of credits each month, and work you ask the AI to do — a chat conversation, a commissioned report — draws them down. Usage shows what has been used and what is left.
Credits are a unit of work, not a currency. Heavier work costs more of them: a deep report studies more competitors and more evidence than a standard one, so it draws more credits. Before you start a report, Silktide shows what it is likely to cost and the most it can ever cost, so nothing arrives as a surprise.
Not everything you do with AI is metered. Most of what a plan covers — AI visibility measurement, document remediation — is included in the price and spends no credits at all, so it never appears in your usage and can never be refused because your credits ran out.
Credits reset on the first of each calendar month (UTC). Anything unspent does not carry over.
