Flesch Reading Ease

Flesch Reading Ease scores a text from 0 to 100, where higher is easier. Like Flesch-Kincaid Grade, it works from average sentence length and average syllables per word. Rudolf Flesch published it in 1948.

It does not produce a school grade, so pages scored with it have a reading level but no reading age. They count in Pages by reading level, but not in the average reading age.
