AI reports screen
AI reports are on-demand assessments Silktide AI runs when you ask. Regular checks still run automatically on every tested page. Reports stay opt-in because they use AI.
Most reports are for a single page. A module strategy is the same chassis for one module of a website: it starts from that module's overview and argues from the site's test results, not from one URL. Goal and insights reports start from Analytics.
Because they use AI, reports can incur a small cost. That is why they stay opt-in: you decide which pages are worth a deeper look.
What you get
Each run produces a focused report: a score where relevant, a plain-language summary, and findings you can act on. Page reports cover or for one URL. The exact questions and measurements depend on which report you run.
Running a report
Start a page report from Presence Deep dives, including on a URL that is not on a linked website. Start a module strategy from that site's Overview. Start a goal or insights report from Analytics. Every report opens as a document of its own, with an On this page outline, Edit and Share at the top, and a version menu for earlier editions. The back arrow returns you to where you opened it.
A report takes several minutes and runs in the background, so starting one keeps you where you are. The place the report will appear shows how far along it is and roughly how long is left, and Silktide lets you know when it's ready. Choose Watch to open the report while it's being written: you'll see what it's doing and the pages and questions it has looked at so far, then the report writes itself onto the page. Stop cancels a run that hasn't finished. Nothing from it is kept, and any earlier edition stays as it was.
The report's options menu is what you do to this edition:
- Re-run starts a new run with the same subject and options. The previous edition stays in the version menu.
- Archive this edition hides it from the history and from later comparisons. You can restore it.
- Start over archives every live edition and writes a new first edition that does not follow up on them. Archived editions stay readable in the version menu.
If those editions proposed tasks, you can delete the ones that were never accepted. The new run then starts without them: it neither avoids that work nor treats it as something you turned down, and proposes whatever its own evidence supports.
Proposals
Some editions also recommend work: a task to create, or a decision to accept. Those recommendations sit on the report as Proposals. Nothing they suggest happens until you accept it. A declined ask stays declined on later editions, so the same suggestion is not raised again and again.
Website also list proposed decisions that are waiting on you.
Editing a report
A finished report can be edited, including an archived edition you are about to restore. Turn on Edit to change the document in place: rewrite a block, move it, change a heading without leaving the page, or ask Silktide for a suggestion on the text you selected. History keeps those edits, so you can step back. A later Re-run still starts from the same subject and options; it does not throw away the edition you edited.
