Why doesn't Silktide offer an accessibility plugin or overlay?

Accessibility overlays (widgets that claim to "fix" a site for assistive technology in the visitor's browser) are widely criticized by accessibility practitioners and have featured in lawsuits against sites that relied on them.

Silktide will not sell or recommend an overlay. They do not replace good HTML, design, and content decisions, and they do not make a site WCAG-conformant.

Silktide's approach is the opposite: measure real issues, help your team understand them, and improve the underlying experience - including with Silktide Agent and document remediation where relevant.
