Section

A section is a defined part of a website that Silktide reports on as if it were a site of its own, with its own scores, results, and settings where needed.

Sections are defined by URL rules, and they do not have to be mutually exclusive: the same page can belong to several. A website might have a section for its English pages, one for its French pages, and a third covering all of Western Europe that overlaps both.

Organizations use sections to reflect how responsibility is really divided. A university might create a section per department so each one sees its own scores and owns its own accessibility issues; a business might split by brand, product area, or region.
