JavaScript
JavaScript is the programming language that makes web pages interactive: menus that open, content that loads without a refresh, forms that validate as you type. It runs in the visitor's browser, alongside the page's structure and styling.
Silktide tests pages in a real browser with JavaScript running, so content that only appears through JavaScript is still tested. That is not true of every crawler: some do not run JavaScript at all, which is why JavaScript-only content can be invisible to them even when a page works fine for visitors.
